Why do we are celebrating Krishna Janmashtami?
Krishna Janmashtami is the festival of Hindu religion that celebrated every year in India. The lord Krishna was the son of Devaki and Vasudeva. The Krishna was born in a prison in the custody of Kansa. Vasudev, His father immediately thought of his friend Nand and decided to hand over his child to him to save Krishna from the clutch of Kansa. Krishna grew up in Gokul and finally killed his uncle, King Kansa. They Killed Many devils with own supernatural powers.
How do we celebrate Krishna Janmashtami?
Hindus celebrate Janmashtami with fasting, preparing and sharing special food and sweets, visiting Krishna or Vishnu temples. The Janmashtami celebration of Mathura and Vrindavan, the places where Sri Krishna had spent his life, are very special.

As I residing in Chandigarh here we celebrate Janmashtami at sector 20 math mandir where all people are getting together for prayer and for the glory of God. Peoples are fully blessed on this day and markets are decorated with LED lights and flowers.people are coming from different areas. In this day Janmashtami is also celebrated in schools and colleges. Many states and cities organized an event on this day to express the history of Lord Krishna. In the midnight 12:00 am celebrate the birth time of lord. Women’s break the fast with milk, curd, fruits.
